Black Flag Theatre Company and Event 1013 are proud to present Carnival of Magic –
a theatrical magic and music extravaganza for all ages! The show opens with our singing ringmaster Kim backed by Brad Kozak and the Usual
Suspects.

The Magic and Variety show features Dal Sanders, Mike Squires, Ian Richards and
Sideshow Artist John Chaos.

Dal Sanders is a well-traveled entertainer who has performed across the United States, Europe, Asia and South America. In addition to headlining his own shows, Sanders has shared the stage with many well-known acts at various shows and events.

Dal served as National President of The Society of American Magicians from 2013-2014. The S.A.M. is the oldest magic organization in the world and includes Harry Houdini, Howard Thurston and other famous magicians as Past National Presidents. He is also a member of London’s Magic Circle and has achieved its highest level, Member Inner Magic Circle with Gold Star. He has also been awarded The Order of Willard from The Texas Association of Magicians, is a member of The International Brotherhood of
Magicians and a member of The Academy of Magical Arts (The Magic Castle).

Dal Sanders has performed on international television as a feature entertainer on several Mrs. International Beauty Pageants, television commercials and was recently featured on a Comedy Central Special. Dal will be also be featured in the upcoming feature comedy film Hidden in the Heart of Texas. Recently he and his wife Cinde became hosts of the internationally syndicated television show Kartoon Circus where they perform and teach magic for a live studio audience.

Dal Sanders’ stage presence, humor and talent have won him international acclaim wherever he has performed. From Theaters to Corporate Events to Fund Raising Shows he has treated audiences of all ages to imaginative and entertaining performances that have resulted in making everyone laugh and say WOW!

Mike Squires’ skills as a conjurer are a cut above, having perfected old standards of magic and creating some of the most cunning original effects of the modern age. Mike Squires is the Past President of the Dallas Magic Society and performs close-up magic for corporate events, stage magic for all ages, and walk-around magic for black-tie
events.

You can expect a very dry wit and an understated punchline with every magical movement he makes. He has studied with some of the giants of the Art of Magic and is sought after as a consultant by many top acts. Mike’s show is perfect for audiences who want sophistication and a warm personality, he will causally blow your mind.”

Before he moved to Texas, Ian Richards lived in Tennessee, but he speaks with a real
southern accent because he is from Australia.
Ian became interested in magic late in life after learning a rope trick to provide the entertainment for a kite flying birthday party – that never happened. For the last twenty years it has been an obsession. So much so that Ian’s wife Maria thinks they should sell their condominium and buy a house to store all of Ian’s “valuable magical apparatus”, i.e., magic junk.
Ian is a past president of the Dallas Magic Society and performs stand-up magic regularly at “Comedy and Magic For All Ages” at the Improv Comedy Clubs in Arlington and Addison.

Playfully dancing alongside the footsteps of her grandparents, Mark and Nani Wilson, pioneers in magic on television, world renowned illusionists, primary producers, directors, and performers of many tv spots and specials, the most infamous of them being The Magic Land of Allakazam. Sean brings her own flair for the wonders of human potential and mystery to the performance arts.

Raised in a midwest show town behind the scenes, she has been influenced by productions of acrobats, illusions, and circus. Inspiring her to pursue art forms she’s shared on tour and in many theaters in cities all over the United States, and mesmerized the hearts and minds of many.

Throughout the years Sean has been working hard to develop her own artistic voice and make sure she stands out in the entertainment scene. Performances are guaranteed a good time and are modified for all ages and venues. Currently for daily performances, special events, and festivals. She’s worked with many companies, groups, and magic productions.

Everyone has a calling, and John Chaos heard the voice of the sideshow calling him to be a freak. Chaos strives to bring the old sideshow ways to a new generation of the masses as he works to join the ranks of the greats and be “The Freak of the 21st Century”. He pushes himself to learn as much as possible about this art form, John Chaos believes there are NO limits to achieving his goal. The goal of not only entertaining the populace but educating the world that no brain…no pain.

The fun will begin long before the show even starts as the lobby of [your venue] will be
converted to an indoor Midway with challenging Carnival games. Some of the games
are gaffed and hard to win other games are based purely on skill. The games will be lined up with red and white stripped booths and prizes will be offered when (and if) you win. The Carnival Midway is provided by Amazing Attractions.
