2022
VP Texas Association of Magicians

Dal Sanders became the Vice President of The Texas Association of Magicians and will serve as President of the organization in 2023 –2024. During this time, he and the Dallas Magic Club will host the first ever combined TAOM-SAM Convention in Dallas.

This convention will celebrate the Dallas Magic Club’s 100th Anniversary and will also host the FISM North American Championship of Magic.

2021
FISM Judge

In October of 2021, Dal passed the requirements and the examinations to become an Official FISM Judge for their competitions. He is currently one of 75 official judges in the world.

S.A.M. appoints Dal to FISM board

In March 2021 The Society of American Magicians appointed Dal Sanders to represent the Society on the board of The International Federation of Magic Societies (FISM).

Golden Wand Award

Dal and Cinde Sanders were awarded the prestigious Golden Wand Award for outstanding contributions to the Discover Magic Program, and for teaching over 500 students online during the 2020 COVID Pandemic lockdown.

2020
Volunteers of the Year

Dal and Cinde Sanders from Amazing Attractions were recognized as Volunteers of the Year–2020 for their commitment to unsheltered children and their families by Suzy Gardner, Founder of the DFW Birthday Brigade.

Dean of the Dallas Magic Club

December 15th, 2020, Dal was named Dean of the Dallas Magic Club.

2019
Award of Merit from the Academy of Magical Arts

Dal Sanders was given an Award of Merit from the Academy of Magical Arts (The Magic Castle) in 2019 for his efforts in having the United States House of Representatives recognize Magic as an art form, and in instigating the U.S. Government to further that recognition in the form of a postage stamp.

promoted to Member of the Inner Magic Circle with Gold Star (MIMC)

Within The Magic Circle, the number of MIMC members never exceeds 300.

Magic is recognized as an Art

While Dal was president of the S.A.M., he and Eric Hogue convinced the U.S. House of Representatives to recognize magic as an art.
